From director Clint Eastwood and based on true events, "RICHARD JEWELL" introduces us to the eponymous security guard (Paul Walter Hauser) who reported finding a bomb at the 1996 Atlanta Games. Before detonation, Jewell heroically jumped into action to save countless lives, making him both a hero and media phenomenon. Within days, however, Jewell quickly became the FBI’s number one suspect and public opinion shifted. Vilified by the press, his daily life was completely upended. With the support of his mother Bobi (Kathy Bates) and an anti-establishment attorney named Watson Bryant (Sam Rockwell), Jewell held steadfast in professing his innocence and trying to prove to the world who he really was. With a screenplay by Billy Ray, the film also stars Jon Hamm, Olivia Wilde and Nina Arianda.
